Account Deletion & Data Handling

App: The GOAT Meter

Developer: Anndrew Team

1 How can I request account deletion?

A. Delete directly inside the app (recommended)

You can delete your account directly inside The GOAT Meter app. The deletion usually takes effect immediately or shortly after:

  1. Open The GOAT Meter app and sign in with the account you want to delete.
  2. Go to the Settings screen and locate the Danger Zone or Delete account section.
  3. Tap the Delete account button and follow the on-screen confirmation steps.
  4. After confirmation, personal data and in-app records associated with this account will be deleted or retained as described in the “Data handling policy” section below.

B. Request deletion via email (if you cannot access the app)

If you cannot sign in to the app or cannot use the in-app delete function for any reason, you may request deletion via email. We will process your request within 7 business days after we receive it:

  1. Send the email from the same email address you used with your The GOAT Meter account.
  2. Recipient: topaj01@gmail.com
  3. Subject line: Account deletion request - [Your account name]
  4. To help us verify your identity, briefly include the nickname or other non-sensitive information that is shown inside the app (do not send your password).
  5. We will send a confirmation email once the deletion process has been completed.

2 Data handling policy

● Data that will be deleted

  • Personally identifiable information (such as display name, email address, profile image) associated with your The GOAT Meter account.
  • Account authentication credentials and OAuth-related data used for sign-in.
  • All in-app activity and preference data linked to your account (such as your votes, stances, and configuration inside the app).

● Data that may be retained (if required)

For legal, accounting, or security reasons, the following data may be retained for a limited period where required:

  • Financial transaction records (for example, in-app purchase receipts that must be kept for tax or accounting purposes).
  • Aggregated or de-identified statistics that cannot reasonably be linked back to you as an individual, used only to analyze usage and improve the service.
